Dr. Shane Specht

Shane played collegiate baseball at Lebanon Valley College, where he was a four-year starting pitcher and served as a three-year team captain. During his summers, he coached with the Phillies Baseball Academy, an experience that sparked his passion for coaching and developing young athletes. While attending graduate school, he also coached at Cedar Crest High School before stepping away from the game in a formal coaching role for several years. Recently, he has reconnected with baseball through teaching and enjoying the game alongside his children, rediscovering the joy of player development and fundamentals. Outside of baseball, he enjoys traveling with his wife and three children and getting to as many Phillies games as possible.
